We are We Go Round Travel — a Bangkok-based tour operator running private trips across Thailand since 2009. Not a booking platform, not a middleman. A small team with deep knowledge of the country, a government licence, and 17 years of routes nobody else offers.
We Go Round Travel started in 2009, before Instagram made "off-the-beaten-path" a hashtag. Our founders had spent years guiding friends and family through northern Thailand, Isan and the quiet Andaman — routes that didn't appear in guidebooks because they required knowledge, relationships and patience to pull off.
What began as word-of-mouth grew into a registered company: a TAT-licensed operator (Inbound / Outbound / Domestic) with a small permanent team and a network of specialist local guides built over a decade. We have stayed deliberately small — every trip is personally overseen, never farmed out to a random subcontractor.
Over 17 years and 500+ private trips, the company has guided honeymoon couples, multi-generation families, solo women travellers, corporate groups, and Western retirees spending a month in Thailand. The through-line is the same: private transport, licensed guides, no tourist-trap commission restaurants, and a local team reachable by phone throughout.
This is a registered licence from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), authorising We Go Round Travel to operate inbound tours — meaning we are legally permitted to handle foreign visitors, provide licensed guides, and collect payments in Thailand.
We are also a registered member of the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA) — membership No. 2112 — the national body representing licensed Thai travel agencies and upholding professional standards across the industry.
You can verify our licence directly on the TAT database. The number has been continuously renewed since the company was founded.
A licensed operator carries professional liability, is bound by TAT's code of conduct for handling tourists, and cannot simply disappear overnight. Unlicensed operators — however well-reviewed — carry none of these protections for you.
Our core team is based in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. We work with a trusted network of regional specialist guides — people who grew up in Mae Hong Son, who have been walking the Isan plateau for 20 years, who know the Andaman fishing communities personally.
