Most itineraries in Thailand move fast: a temple this morning, a beach tomorrow, a new hotel every second night. This one does the opposite. You settle into three home-bases — Chiang Mai for the first week, a quiet valley town in the deep north for the second, and the warm, largely unvisited region of Isan for the third — and let each one unfold at the pace of a person, not a schedule.
Mornings are gentle. Afternoons are yours. There is a local host you'll come to know, an English-speaking guide who is never more than a phone call away, and a rhythm built around rest, real culture, and quiet wellness rather than a checklist. Nothing is mandatory. The elephant sanctuary, the cooking class, the morning yoga — all are offered, none are compulsory.
We have been running private journeys in Thailand since 2009. We designed this trip because experienced travelers kept coming back and saying the same thing: "We want more time in fewer places." This is the answer to that conversation.
